FIG-Forth - CDP1802 IP - Lattice FPGA-Board

Another puzzle piece about Forth is available. C-H Tings Manual, an excellent description of a complete Forth System including Editor, has just been published as eBook.

Rather than just making the documentation available we wanted to prove it still works - at least on one processor. There was excellent support from Steve Teal and Scott Baker with the 1802 IP and to get FIG-Forth 1802 running on the FPGA. Thanks to them and the others who made it possible.

And here is the CDP1802 IP VHDL Code as well. Steve decided not to include SPI support on the first release, but GPIO has been included. He needs to work on the readme file to explain how to build and deploy to the target board and some notes on how to use UT4 and TB. This core comes with Tiny Basic, but the FIG Forth is made with the same core. (23.12.2016 - come back and check for updates!)

...just to show it works.
